JOB TITLE: Operations Field Trainer



Bonchon is an international restaurant concept known for our delicious, signature Korean double-fried chicken. The Field Trainer will deliver core training to the field managers, franchisees and teams to provide them with the operational skills necessary to successfully run a Bonchon restaurant using company best practices. The Field Trainer will conduct training when traveling as well as in designated restaurants. The Field Trainer will directly perform hands-on operational work to train new team members, respond to immediate guest service needs and/or to otherwise role model appropriate skills and behaviors in the restaurant. Focal points for the Field Trainer include ensuring company goals in hospitality, operational execution, food safety and quality control are achieved, including the transfer of knowledge on core restaurant systems such as food pars, ordering, inventory, scheduling, safety documentation and others as appropriate. This high-profile, forward-facing, and fast-paced position demands a blend of professional acumen, organization, teaching skills, time management and creativity.


· Take a leadership role in New Restaurant Openings including pre-arrival preparation, communication and guidance, training of managers and team members on each job code, assisting in promotional events on or around the opening of the restaurant and providing post-opening support to the restaurant, franchisees and team members
· Collection and distribution of key data to the leadership team and the brand for New Restaurant Openings and training assignments
· Execute Bonchon highest standards of hospitality and operational execution
· Proactively train and execute programs to assure achievement of systemwide goals and standards
· Serve as a subject matter expert for the development and execution of training content and manuals
· Create long-term success for restaurant, franchisees and management
· Coach and provide ongoing training for restaurant teams and managers
· Work in existing restaurants in a management capacity when there are no training assignments to run shifts and transfer knowledge to existing staff


· Bachelor’s is preferred
· Prior successful New Restaurant Opening and in-restaurant training experience preferred
· A minimum of one (1) year of high-volume restaurant and kitchen experience
· QSR or fast-casual dining experience is preferred
· Restaurant Management experience is preferred
· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a sense of urgency
· Passionate about and thrives on training and development of teams
· High School diploma or GED is required
