WHO YOU ARE

We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager who’s a natural leader with the capabilities to develop and inspire a team within a growing fast-casual restaurant chain. We want a multi-tasker who’s efficient, energetic, and loves what they do with a roll up the sleeves attitude. The Kitchen Manager will be a strong leader with the ability to guide a kitchen staff. Responsibilities Include:

Order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand
Supervise kitchen employees and organize food orders
Oversee the food preparation and cooking process
Recruit and train kitchen employees in designated stations
Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments
Work with the restaurant manager to price and change menu items
Schedule work shifts for employees
Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations
Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized
Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports
Follow all Bonchon best practices, policies, and procedures
Other duties assigned by Management

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

3 year of restaurant Front of House management experience
1-3 years of kitchen and Back of House management experience preferred
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
Must have a polished and professional demeanor
Must have a team oriented, sales and service driven attitude
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Must be able to stand, bend, and move during shift duties
Must be able to lift minimum of 40 lbs.
Food Handler’s Certification is a plus
Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities
Outstanding communication and organizational skills
