ROLE OVERVIEW

The Manager of Franchise Sales is responsible for assisting with the sales execution process working directly with the Director of Franchise Development. The Manager of Franchise Sales will assist with the process of contract completion and the recruiting of qualified franchisee and licensee prospects. S/he will demonstrate the ability to partner with management, departments, and peers, multi-task and prioritize to ensure the franchisee and licensee prospects complete the discovery process. The Manager of Franchise Sales will work closely with the Sales & Development team members and the Director of Development on planning and execution. S/he will have an understanding of the industry and possess the ability to be agile and personable. High collaboration and strong business acumen skills will be critical skills for this role to be successful.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Execute franchise recruitment strategies to develop strong relationships with franchise candidates
· Develop business relationships; outreach, coordinate, schedule and participate in business meetings with potential franchisees
· Assist the Director of Franchise Development with recruiting, screening, and evaluating qualified franchisees and licensees · based on their development ability, operational skills, and financial qualifications
· General prospecting of opportunity via B2B networking relationships, Trade Shows, seminars, development agreements, cold calling, advertising channels, etc.
· Be a liaison to the franchisee and licensee prospects on the steps of the development process, including application criteria, required forms and procedures
· Guide applicants through the process to their eventual signing of a development agreement
· Remain knowledgeable of franchising, licensing and restaurant industry trends and activity
· Comply with all franchise laws and Bonchon policies
· Collect, analyze, and present data to the Director of Franchise Development to identify potential markets and curate entry strategies to harness opportunities
· Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or I/O Psychology preferred)
· 2-5 years of Sales or Franchising & Licensing experience
· 0-10% Travel (as needed)
· Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
· Organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
· Effective written and oral communication skills
· Engaging and impactful presentation skills
· Proficient Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Bilingual is preferred (English and Korean/Chinese)
