ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Franchise Business Consultant to join our team to guide and support our franchise partners on the East Coast. The Franchise Business Consultant will provide catered business direction to Bonchon Franchise partners, improving restaurant operations and maximizing profitability. S/he will communicate the performance level of the locations and partner with franchisees to develop goals and strategies in response to business needs within their assigned area. The FBC will implement business growth by identifying potential operational opportunities for improvement while providing training and coaching, improving location performance. S/he is responsible for driving regional operating initiatives and achieving results through effective leadership of, and partnership with, our franchise partners.

The Franchise Business Consultant is a problem-solver with analytical and critical thinking skills. S/he’s an excellent communicator and relationship builder—internally and externally to the business—and thrives in a fast paced environment. The FBC is self-motivated and sales driven with an entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude. S/he has restaurant/food and beverage experience as well as coaching and development experience to support our franchise partners. The Franchise Business Consultant will bring experience in profitable P&L management, time management skills, and organization skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conducts business analyses through visits and performance trends
· Examines restaurant profitability to determine next steps for profit-maximization
· Reinforces brand standards and quality standards based on in-restaurant observations
· Consults with franchisees on maintaining operational excellence and increasing sales growth
· Identifies unique needs of franchisee and restaurants and creating business solutions
· Works with franchisees on timely resolution of compliance issues
· Assists franchisees in setting goals and implementing supporting tactics to reach targeted goals
· Coordinates Bonchon standards and operational procedures field training for franchisees
· Assists with new restaurant setup and organization, staff training, and grand opening procedures
· Maintains responsibility for financial performance of all restaurant locations

SKILLS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

· 2-4 years of restaurant or retail operations experience
· Ability to travel a minimum of 50%
· High School Diploma
· Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
· 1-2 years of multi-unit management experience (preferred)
· Bi-lingual in Korean/English or Chinese/English is a plus
· Strong knowledge of franchise principles and business operations is a plus
